USDS is an algorithmic stablecoin issued by Sky Protocol, formerly MakerDAO. It is the successor to DAI and is designed to maintain its USD peg through a system of overcollateralized vaults and liquidation mechanisms, with collateral including ETH, BTC, USDC, and various other cryptocurrencies and real-world assets.
